Privacy Policy
The estimate quiz and the contact form send your name, phone, email, town and project details to our office, where we use them to call you back, look at your windows and doors, and write a price. They go into our customer-management system and are never sold.
The consent box records your permission to be contacted about the request, and replying STOP ends our texts. This site runs no analytics, ad pixels or tracking cookies, and a note to [email protected] lets you see, correct or delete what we hold.

Rockland Window Replacement wrote this page so you know exactly where your details go after you hand them to us online. Read on for what we gather, why, which outside services touch it and what you can ask of us.
About Us
Our business replaces windows, entry doors and patio doors in Rockland, Maine, and in the 21 Midcoast towns around it. The office is on New County Road in Rockland, and this site lives at rocklandwindowreplacement.com.
What Our Forms Collect
Your answers travel to our office at the moment you press the last button on the estimate quiz or the contact form. A form you abandon partway sends us nothing, and neither form stores your answers in your browser.
- How to reach you: full name, phone number and email address.
- Your project: the town; whether it is the whole house, a few windows or a door; the project type, budget and message on the contact form; and any notes you type at the end of the quiz.
- The submission itself: whether the consent box was ticked, the page holding the form and the time it was sent.
Notes from a phone call or from our visit to your house join that same record. Once you hire us, that record also takes in the written price we gave you, the contract we both signed and each invoice.
Separately, our web host logs page requests the ordinary way. Each line records the visitor's IP address, which browser was used and which page was asked for.
Why We Use It
We put your details to work for three jobs and no others:
- answering your request and booking a time to see your windows and doors
- pricing the work, and if you hire us, carrying it out and billing for it
- staying in touch on the job by text, phone or email, in the ways your consent on the form allows
Selling, renting or trading your personal information is something we never do. Nor do we market anything to you beyond the project you asked about.
Services That See Your Details
A few outside services handle information when you browse the site, phone us or send a request.
- Our customer-management system takes in each form and stores call records and the project notes our team writes.
- Our phone system routes our calls and texts, and what is noted on a call lands in your record.
- Email providers move and store messages between you and us.
- Cloudflare, our web host, delivers these pages, keeps the request log noted earlier and forwards email addressed to us into our inbox.
The maps of our towns pull their tiles from OpenStreetMap, which therefore sees your IP address. Our contact page also links to Google Maps for directions, and anything you do there falls under Google's privacy policy.
A subpoena, a court order or some other legal duty can require us to hand information over. We may also release it to protect a person's safety or our legal rights.
The Consent Box
Each form that sends us a request carries a single consent box, left unticked, and the form stays unsent until you tick it. On the quiz, a short line next to the box links to the complete authorization text; on the contact form, that complete text sits right beside the box.
The tick gives Rockland Window Replacement, our team members and our assistants permission to contact you by email, text or phone to check your request and the information in it, and that holds even if your number is listed on a Do-Not-Call registry. It also allows follow-up about the request, calls and texts sent with automated technology included, and you never have to give it in order to buy from us.
Browsing parts of our website about builders, contractors, real estate agents or home service providers extends that permission to them too. If you would rather not consent online, ring the number shown at the foot of any page and we can take the request over the phone.
Texts and Calls
We text you only about your estimate request or your window and door job, to arrange the visit, say, or to update you once work begins. Message and data rates may apply, and the number of texts depends on the project.
- Text STOP whenever you like and our texts end, with one message to confirm it.
- Text HELP for assistance, or email [email protected].
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party.
Want the calls to stop as well? Say so during any call, or send an email, and we will remove your number from our call list.
Our AI Receptionist
When you phone us, an AI receptionist may pick up first, and early in the call it tells you so. The receptionist notes your name and number along with what you tell it about your windows or doors, then files a short summary in your customer-management record.
Cookies, Tracking and Analytics
We run no analytics software, advertising pixels or tracking cookies anywhere on this site. Nothing is written to your browser's storage, and both forms work with cookies turned off.
The outside map service may set cookies too, governed by that service's own policy, as mentioned earlier. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies at any time.
How Long Records Are Kept
A request stays in our records for as long as we are answering it and following up on your windows or doors. Customer records can be kept longer when a contract, tax rules or another law requires it.
Keeping Your Details Safe
Your details are open only to the services named here and to the people at our company who need them for your project. Nothing online can be made perfectly secure, and we do not pretend it can.
If your personal information is ever caught up in a breach, we will notify you in the manner that Maine's breach notice law sets out.
Seeing, Fixing or Deleting Your Details
Any of these can be requested:
- a copy of the personal information we keep on you
- a fix for anything inaccurate or outdated
- erasure of your information, apart from records we must keep under a signed contract or the law
Send the request to [email protected] or phone us at the number listed on our contact page. Before acting, we may ask a question or two to be sure the request really comes from you.
Children
We write for adults planning window and door work, and nothing here targets children. Should we find that a person under 18 has sent us details, those details are deleted.
Other Websites We Link To
Some of our pages cite public sources: town code offices, Maine's home construction contract statute, the Environmental Protection Agency's lead rule and the National Park Service. Each of those sites keeps a privacy policy of its own that this one does not reach.
When This Policy Changes
We revise this page when our handling of information changes or the law changes. The date printed at the top tells you which version is in force.
Privacy Questions
Questions about privacy can go to [email protected] or through our contact page, where our phone number is listed.
